The Howard Foundation, an independent foundation administered at Brown, grants fellowships for independent projects in selected interest fields.
To qualify for a Howard Fellowship, candidates must confirm their "early mid-career" professional status and address additional eligibility criteria.
The Howard Foundation will begin accepting applications on July 1, 2026 for the upcoming fellowships in Writing for Performance and Choreography as well as Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies.
