You must create a Survey Monkey Apply profile. Applicants are asked to supply basic information about themselves and then to upload a project description (three double-double spaced pages, ca. 800-900 words), a two-page curriculum vitae, and a writing sample of no more than 20 pages, or a visual/audio sample with a quantity defined by the category, as well as the names and email addresses of two individuals willing to supply letters of recommendation for the applicant.

Potential applicants, prior to initiating an application, should visit the eligibility page to see if they meet the requirements for a Howard Fellowship. The deadline for this submission of applications is November 1, 2024. The fellowships funds will be awarded for use beginning 7/1/2025.
